Information for Community Organizations, Schools and ISDs ordering a Special Needs Safety Harness for Student or Client with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome
We currently deal with hundreds of Community Organizations, Schools and ISDs. Some have credit cards and pay for their harness immediately through PayPal. Most need to generate a Purchase Order first, then send their payment by cheque. Whatever procedures your organization has in place, it is easy to work together to make sure you receive your harness as quickly as possible and worry about the paperwork later.

1. If your Community Organization, School or ISD has a Credit Card for online purchases:
*Note* that we do not accept credit card numbers over the phone, through email or in our office. We deal with PayPal only.
If your Community Organization/School/ISD has a credit card to purchase the harness through PayPal:
- complete the order form
- we will confirm your order and email you an invoice
- the invoice will be a separate email direct from PayPal
- pay the invoice using the company credit card. You may have to forward the invoice to the person responsible for the credit card so they can sign onto the company PayPal account and pay the invoice.
- we will confirm receipt of funds, then make and mail your order
2. If your Community Organization/School/ISD requires a written Estimate to generate a Purchase Order:
- order the harness for the child
- in the question "For Schools and Community Orgs" indicate "Estimate required for Purchase Order"
- we will email you an official estimate of your order, including shipping & handling
- once the Purchase Order number is generated, email the number to us. We do not require a hard copy of the Purchase Order unless the Ship To address has changed.
- your order will be made and shipped, and an official invoice will be emailed to you at that time
- your Finance department sends payment by cheque once the harness is received
Our Vendor information
Please enter the vendor name as Children's Harnesses by Elaine, Inc. in your system.
The Corporation Number and Canada Revenue Agency tax number will appear on your official Estimate and your official Invoice.
W8 (not a W9)
We will provide you with a W8.
Note that the W9 is for companies located in the USA. Since we are a Canadian company and considered international, you will need a W8 instead.
Sole Source Letter
The Child Harness and the Special Needs Safety Harness are Elaine's own designs. They are made and sold exclusively through this website.
If your School or Community Organization is restricted to purchases within the USA, a Sole Source Letter may allow you to order from Childharness.ca.
Please email us for a signed copy of a Sole Source Letter.

Each organization is a little different and may require additional paperwork in order to set us up as a vendor in their system. Over the years we have provided/completed;
